Here's some help deciding if I wrote this book for you.Imagine an elementary text, a comprehensive manual, and a collection of production quality scripts. My approach in writing "Tcl/Tk for Programmers" lies somewhere between these things. My intended audience consists of people who already know how to write computer programs and don't particularly want a treatment aimed at neophytes. For the most part, I introduce Tcl/Tk without introducing programming concepts. However, I do give introductory treatments to some topics that may not be universally understood among programmers. These are regular expressions, GUI programming, and TCP/IP client/server programming.
