The primary function of Basic File Modifier is to modify the basic properties, which make up any file. Is it the date, the attributes, filename, file extension, or the location.

Set and correct date: It's possible to give the files a new date of your choice. Still correcting only certain parts (e.g. hour and day) is possible as well. Here you can choose from "Set to", "Add" and "Reduce by".
Correct filename: This allows to set the case. Support is a variety of methods, including: "Lowercase", "Title case" or "Sentence case". Also self-chosen characters and text parts can be searched and replaced.

Set destination: It's possible to replace the files, or to give them a new location. Here the placeholders can also be used. Furthermore the folder structure can be retained and files be moved to the destination which helps in e.g. classifying the files.
