This is a component desgined to monitor a computer file system and notify you via built-in events when changes to files and directories occur. It enables the developer to take full control over which directories are monitored and which types of changes on those directories should trigger change events. Also able to force support for sub-directory notfications on operating systems (e.g. Windows 98) that do not directly support this functionality. Can be used with any ActiveX-compliant programming language and ships with context-sensitive help detailing all the available properties, methods and events.
