Email Alerter sits nicely on your system tray (next to the clock, usually at the bottom right of the screen).

It periodicly connects to your mail server and checks for any new emails. When new emails are received, Email Alerter will bring it to your attention! It can be customized to display a message, play a WAVE or even execute an external program when new emails are detected.
