Briefings are date sensitive Entries. They are normally used to provide a review of information needed for an upcoming event, such as a meeting or presentation. In this way, important information can arrive when it is needed without devoting mental resources unnecessarily. Additionally, materials such as documents or slide show presentations can be gathered and embedded in the Entry ahead of the briefing date, thus saving time and reducing last-minute stress. When Virgo A is started on the specified day, a notification message will appear, announcing that briefings are waiting to be reviewed. The User is thus able to be briefed about specific information in a timely way. Although this option could easily be used as an ordinary date reminder program, that is not its design intent. The intent is to present information at a time that it can be utilized most effectively.
