The import/export utility provides the means to transfer Entries between Users. Import/export is typically used to exchange Entries with others in a secure way. It is particularly useful in situations where Entries need to be transferred to multiple persons, but the recipients should not know the content of another recipient's data. Option Module for Virgo A: Synchronization processes Entries from two different computers so that they have identical contents. During these processes: Entries are exchanged. Older Entries are replaced by newer ones Obsolete Entries are deleted. Synchronization is accomplished via a special file called the "Sync File". It is automatically generated by the "create sync file" facility in Virgo A. It is encrypted, and can be considered secure. This means that no special precaution is necessary to keep its contents private. It can be transferred to a recipient with any means available. A USB flash drive is ideal for this transfer. Otherwise the file can be emailed or sent by other means.
