Optional Module for Virgo A This device is an alternative to the keyboard and is used to provide some defense against: Keyboard loggers Mouse position capture agents Screen capture agents If you suspect that you may have any of the above agents hiding in your computer, use the Virtual Keyboard whenever possible. It is not intended to provide blind text to every part of the program, but is useful when creating and editing extremely sensitive Entries. Text is entered by clicking a desired character with the mouse. Each character is added to the text box at the bottom. In this way, textual information can be entered without using the keyboard. Upon completing the text Entry and clicking the "Done" button, the Virtual Keyboard loads its text onto the Windowstm clipboard. It can then be pasted wherever desired, even to another application, such as a chat program. The Virtual Keyboard completely thwarts keyboard logger spy agents. There are also software agents that record mouse position and clicks. The Virtual Keyboard confounds such agents by moving itself to a random screen position every ten characters entered. This renders useless most information gathered by recording the mouse position. To cloak text even further, click the show/hide image until sunglasses are visible. This makes the completed text invisible and thereby results in the user being unable to see text as it is entered, but it thoroughly defeats a screen capture agent. Text is still loaded to the clipboard when the "Done" button is pressed, even though it is not visible onscreen.
